Overview
We design and develop web sites ranging from those that are simply a “presence” on the Internet through to full data driven, interactive web sites.
As part of our “one-stop-shop” approach we can also arrange hosting for your site, as well as domain and database transfers.
So whether it's just a presence you need on the Web, or you need a database that can be maintained online, or even an online shop, give us a call or drop us an email.
Here are some of the sites we look after:-

We've put together some examples of web site designs - just click on the image or the link to the side.
Remember that these are just examples, and they're not "templates". So if you see elements from each that you'd like to incorporate into your site, it's no problem for us to pull them out and put it all back together for you.
Fitness Centre Subtle
The Fitness Centre - this is an example of how a sports centre or gym site might look Subtle - demonstrates how subtle colours can convey your message and how "style sheets" can control colours
Vertigo OS:Tech
Vertigo - interesting popup navigation bar at the top! OS:Tech - quite a "busy" design, but the pictures could be used as links to other pages
Green Leaf Blu4U
Green Leaf - another calm design Blu4U - bold and information driven site
Snowbound Helper
Snowbound - an example of a 3-column layout Helper - simple and stylish
BigBlu .comBiz
BigBlu - another informational website, showing various menu styles .comBiz - a high tech company design, with interesting menu "rollovers"
The Old Nag #1 The Old Nag #2
The Old Nag #1 - this is a simple page layout with the menu at the side The Old Nag #2 - same as the previous one but with the menu at the top

Checklist
Here are some points you need to think about when you're considering a new web site.
Hosting We can arrange hosting for you, but if you're already with a provider, and you're happy with them, then we can build your site there.
Domain Do you already have a domain? If you do, then you need to find the documentation so that we can either transfer it to our machines, or the User and Password so that we can get onto the site to do the work. If you don't already have a domain then you need to think about a name. Have a look at Nominet to see if your name is already registered.
Purpose What do you want the site for? Is it simply to establish a presence so that people can find you? Do you want to sell your products online? Is it for existing customers to see what you're up to or what events you are staging over the next few weeks?
Image What sort of image are you trying to project? Professional, fun, academic, child-friendly, technical, etc. Have a look online and see what your competitors or partners are doing. Find some sites you like the look of to give us an idea of the sort of image you'd like to project.
Content What do you need to put on the site? Have you got existing documents and pictures that you'd like to display? What about logos, flyers, or adverts you already have. Do you have a preference for certain colours in your "branding".
Remember though that what works as a printed document doesn't always work successfully online. You may need to think about how you can split the document down into sections or pages.
Also digital images are better than scanned ones.
Position Do you need to be at the top of a Search Engine's list? If the purpose of the site is to inform existing customers, then you don't need to be at the top of the list.

Prices
Precise pricing depends on how you want the site to look, numbers of pages you need, images we have to "manipulate", and so on.
We can price in ways to suit your budget. So if, for example, you'd rather have a lower starting price and a higher annual charge, then we're happy to do it that way.
Typically a site would have the following pages:
  • Home
  • Products/Services
  • News/Events
  • Links/Partners
  • Contact Us
  • About Us
We offer small business website design at competitive rates as well as supporting and developing charity and voluntary organisation websites
