E-SOP - Electronic Sales Order Pad
The Electronic Sales Order Pad enables
sales reps to go out to customer sites or premises, to sit with the customer,
and to view and take orders on a PDA.
Information that may be entered and
retrieved is:-
- customer names, addresses and contact
information

this allows contact information to be kept up to date
- customer orders and the status of
those orders
-
view all orders for a customer
-
view the products that they normally buy and what they paid
for them
- review products and prices
-
view current portfolio, including pictures
- place new orders, or change existing
ones
-
take order notes and accept signatures
- a facility to enter notes
-
take notes about visits etc
The database on the PDA will be
synchronised with the one on the desktop back at base.
Functions are being developed for
synchronisation with main ERP system.
