The Old Nag, Marple

Welcome to The Old Nag

Originally built in 1867 as a coaching stop on the road between Stockport and Macclesfield, The Old Nag has since been refurbished and refitted many times.

The present owners are Fred and Betty Cornthwaite, who were born and bred in Marple. Fred inherited the pub from his father in 1966 (just after the World Cup Final) and has built up the business steadily since then.
